22re camshaft?

Looking for just a mild cam for my 22re. I do some light wheeling but mainly on the road. Were is the best place to get 1. I've looked on lce but most of there's seem extreme

damn, I cant remember where I got mine, it was years ago.
I called in, explained how I was going to use the truck, and had a cam custom ground for my application. it wasn't priced bad either, right about $100 I think.


im not sure if this is the place I got the 22r cam from, but did use them for a FE 390 that I recently built.

I use a COMPCams shaft. It was recommended to me by my mechanic before I knew better, but I've got no complaints.

If I were buying a cam now I'd go to engnbldr.com though. Don't tell him what you want - tell him how you use the truck, and he'll tell you what you want. And he'll be right.

I bought a new head and cam from ted(engnbuilder), i told him how i use my truck, he set me up with his 261crawler cam. Only good things to say about his product and better yet his customer service. Awesome all around

+1 for engnbldr. I have his 268 cam and love it. Plus his customer service is stellar and he knows these 22re's.
