the other day i noticed i had my brake light and charge light on on my dash.. i know this is a result of the altanator. I changed the alt but to do so i had to pull the lower raid hose, got it all put back to gather, filled back up the raid and started the runner. now after 5 minutes it was warmed up and fluid started leaking for the lower hose. i replaced the hose , filled back up the raid and started the runner again, after 5 minutes its starts to over heat. it has not done this prior to me taking off the lower hose. i Have replaced the thermostat with a stage 2 thermostat with duel valves .. I still over heat.. i have bled the system 2 times now and dont know what the issue is.. dId I MISS A STEP OR SOMETHING.

Do you still have brake light and charge light? The coolant pump is on the same belt as your alternator, the belt could be loose.

All belts are tight. turns out the stage 2 thermo just dosent work right with the cooling system im my runner. it stays way too hot. I tested the thermo, the stage 2 one, and found that it opens at 180 deg but closes IMMEDIATELY.. kinda strange, So I replaced it with a standerd one and it dosent overheat no more.. but i think i cracked my raidiator.. easy fix..
