22RE Power Steering Pulley

Hello Im new to your forum so thanks for that. The question I have may be stupid but here we go. I have a scream at bigh rpms. I thinks it that pulley. I can do the repair of the bearing no prob but i want to know iz the pulley right or left handed threads? Lilke I might be stupid but
I cant afford to mess it up.

Pretty sure the threads on the PS pulley shaft are regular thread.

Before you pull it, loosen the belt at the idler and see if your scream goes away.

I don't have my 22RE 4Runner to look at anymore, but if you have not done it already and the PS belt is not the one that drives the water pump, you could disconnect that belt and run it to high rpms to see if the noise is eliminated.

That way you would be closer to determining the culprit.
