22Re question. What is this part?

I've looked in numorus service manuals and even the Toyota service manual for my 85 4runner and I can't figure out what this is. It's a rectangle and has 3 vaccume ports (2 in the front and one in the back) and has a plug that connects to a wire harness. My buds 85 4runner doesn't have this part at all. Now my engine was rebuilt right before I bought the runner In 2007. Any help would be appreciated.

EGR vacuum switching valve?

Check one of the many on-line FSMs.

All Toyota 4-Runners/pickups equipped with auto locking hubs (ADD=automatic differential disconnect) have vacuum related parts on the valve cover.Like fourwd1 stated check the other free factory service manual download links for full details.

I don't have ADD though. I looked through the Toyota repair manual and found nothing in that location. Could id be located somewhere else from the factory.

My 89 doesnt have ADD either, I'll try to check it tommorow.
