'23 40th Anniversary - assuming that means no 6th gen in '23?

Since Toyota has publicly 'released' the '23 40th Anniversary Edition I'm assuming that means there will not be a 6th gen in '23....correct?

There is a lot more info out on Toyota's site now about the '23 Sequoia, however with the SR5 starting at $61,300 that is more than I want to spend, and that does not include options. Too many people run around 'car poor' these days.

Looks like I will holding onto mine for one more year or getting the new L Cherokee (which I have reservations about).

I'm in the market for a new SUV or truck up to $60k or so. Sequoia is on my list but with the sr5 at 61k Ill look else where. Tundra or 2024 4runner (if next gen). Our current 5th gen has 60k and will stick around for years to come.

I can't see them releasing the 6th gen 4runner and 4th gen tacoma in the same model year. The Tacoma will be released first. We need to start a pool on here as to when it will be redesigned and where it will be made.

Ive read the new 6th gen will take design cues from 4th gen Tacoma. I kinda wish they didn't mess with the headlight design as much as they did, but it is what it is.

I don't like the Pro roof rack but I'm really digging that color combo with the stripes.

Some aftermarket company will recreate those stripes soon enough.

There's gonna be a lot more than 4040 rigs rolling around with that graphics package when it's all said and done.

Some have speculated that the 6th Gen 4R will not be made in Japan. Wouldnt buy a 4R new then and wont buy another Tacoma. We will see. Cheers

Wait till they announce next gen, and if yota says it’s not from Japan go buy a 2023?
I heard that older gen tundras were fetching a lot of $$ because most everyone misses the old V8 and prefer it over twin turbos
