231mm TBU clear factory '02 sport 5 spoke wheels

I'll be doing the 231mm Tundra brake upgrade with the 13WL calipers. I read in the brake thread that they will in fact fit over the factory 5 spoke '02 sport wheels without any spacers or grinding of the wheel?

The thread says they will clear without any modification but I've read in other places it doesn't (aside from trimming the dust shield.)
