With a 3B in it, it is a little optimistic. However, that isn't out of the range of what some sell for. Especially in nice shape.
I work at a LandCruiser specialty shop, and I have seen them go for well north of that. Albeit, with some alterations.
Some things it has going for it:
1. 5speed conversion; No Cruiser ever in the USA ever came with a 5speed. The H55F 5 speed is far and above the 4speed.
2. Super clean, though "body work" usually just means bondo and paint to hide the damage. Fender rot on these is ALWAYS accompanied by frame rust. 100% of the time. And Since the BJ60 was only in Canada, you can bet it saw lots of salt.
3. Diesel. Because.....diesel!
Some things it has against it:
1. 3B Engine. Probably the slowest LC diesel ever invented. And the 3B was never Turbocharged, meaning someone added a Turbo and who knows if that was done correctly.
2. Regular roof; for those unfamiliar with the High-roof, it was a very nice option that allowed much more interior headroom and storage space.
3. Semi-float rear end. Again, because this was a converted US spec cruiser, it doesn't have the Full float rear axle.
4. Its NOT a BJ60, its a converted FJ60.
if this was a truly mint BJ60 you might be close to that price. Or if it was an HJ61 in this shape you shouldn't have any trouble selling it. But a converted FJ60 just isn't worth that much coin.
