265/70/18 Moog FJ Springs Question

So I've decided to run the following setup:

-Moog FJ Springs (front/back)
-Bilstein 5100s
-Cooper Discoverer AT3 265/70/18

Nothing ground breaking here, pretty common stuff. My question is about rubbing. Most posts I read are in reference to the BFGs which may be slightly larger in OD. Also, previous posts have stated that the Moog FJ springs provided a greater lift than anticipated. Should I be concerned? Also, will spacers be needed for this setup? I've seen some people say the spacers simply worsen the issue.

For those running the Moog FJ springs, are your Bilsteins set to 0.85" or 1.75"? Did you install a puck in the rear or no?

They aren't that great of a quality part in the Audi community either. As an inexpensive route for a quick repair sure, but not long term(Speaking of course from an Audi perspective) as 4runners see more action off road than an Audi on tarmac.

Again, I appreciate you directing me to that thread. It's not a chance I'm willing to take. The possible safety risk and the perceived lack of quality are enough to deter me. I was hoping I could take advantage of that little bit of extra lift these provide over OEM FJ springs. No worries. OME it is!

I'll make a suggestion. Since you are going with a setup that is "pieced together" and if you're concerned with the Moog issue maybe consider OME springs to pair with those Bilsteins. They work together nicely, I love my setup. My Bilsteins are installed at the lowest setting BTW. I netted almost 4" of lift from my stock xreas setup. I'm sure my springs were sagging too.

As for the BFG comments, that tire is more squared which causes UCA rubbing issues rather than OD issues like body mount, I think.

The 265/70r18 is a 32.61" OD tire. Very close to a 33". You will probably be fine clearing the body mount on normal pavement driving but offroad would most likely rub. Otherwise you would just need to push the fender liners forward and maybe remove mudflaps.

Well, these were more of a spur of the moment purchase when I found them used on craigslist and only paid $80 so I couldn't resist. With that said, they might last me 10K miles, so there isn't a ton of tread left. They are a 33" tire but in reality more like maybe 32.5" with the lack of tread. Exactly what I said happens to me. I haven't chopped the body mount yet but I'm going to at some point. On road I am totally fine
