but will say Wal-Mart tire and lube install the tires?

I know they will fit with stock suspension, just want to make sure that Wal-Mart Tire and Lube acually install them for me since they are not "factory" size.

I would not let Walmart's employees anywhere near my truck, let alone install the tires. :gun5:

Make sure that the shop installing your tires has Foad-Force Balance machine. My local Lexus dealer has one and that actually beat the quote from a local tire shop. Free breakfast at the waiting room was just a bonus... :naughty:

I wont let wal-mart touch a car either. I had them change tranny fluid years ago, they drained the fluid and never put new in. Im sure everyone knows the rest of the story... Yes they did replace the tranny.

Can't tell ya about Walmart cuse I don't take vehicles there but I had this size BFG AT KO's installed today w/ a Cornfed leveling kit.
:guitar3:

That is pretty damn close to the stock tire size I don't see why it would be an issue.

Stock tire size for a 4Runner with 17" is 265/65R17, I doubt +5 on the tire be that much cause for concern other than a couple miles off on your speedo.

im riding 265 70 17 on nitto tgs on stock and they fit fine. slight rubbing when at full lock, but that is only noticeable when doing a very seriously tight u turn. other than that its nothing.
i had mine put on at big o' but
any dealer should be able to do it... i dont see why it would be a problem..

but as others have said, i wouldnt go to walmart.

also, make sure theyll do your tpms if you have it.

Worst case, you will get a "speech" from your tire shop, but ultimately, if they want your business they will install the tires that you ask/pay for.

I had 265-70-R17's on my 2003 Limited and they worked fine, they did not rub, even at lock, and the truck seemed about an 1" taller. Speedo was out by about 4% slow (you were going actually faster then the speedo says)

I actually just switched back to the stock size... (and got another "speech" from the tire shop).. I actually like the truck better with stock size.

I've actually had a longer speech from tire guys when I asked to install non-speed rated tires on a car that called for W or Z rated tires.

Long and the short of it... I demanded the non-speed rated tires and they installed them.

I had 265/70/17 Duratracs on my 04 sport before the lift. They fit fine only minor rubbing in reverse nothing major.. I would never ever let Wally World near my truck!!
