265/75/16 spare with Addicted OR rear tube bumper?

Installed the bumper this evening. Spare is getting caught on the cross member. That thing isn't going in there anymore. It's in the back of the truck for the moment -

I had the same issue with my CBI before I get the tire carrier added on. I was told that "any" high clearance rear bumper makes the spare not fit.

this was before I finished the bumper, but the back is just a rectangular tube, as you can see my 35" tire fits, but it would be impractical to use it that way on the trail.

I have a Savage rear bumper installed and my spare 265|75R16 fits perfectly. Any bigger and I'd need to find another solution though.

I can get mine up that high but that's no good. With the cable not fully retracted, I fear that it would eventually brake from the tire having movement. I'm not concerned with the trail part. I don't like driving around without a spare. Gonna have to figure something out.
