I installed these tires and they work good. fill up the wheel wells and seem to ride and handle better than stock. These are not off road tires but they are M&S rated. Sorry I don't have pictures but they look good. Bought them at Discount Tire for $113 and purchased the road force balancing. When the wheels (05 Ltd 17") were dismounted I measured width (7.75") and backspace (5.5").

I'd like to see pictures too. Guess I'm wondering why you went wider but not taller? The wider tire may give you a little more stability I guess.

The tires are appox 31" OA. In general they are 1/2" taller and 1" wider than stock, strictly performance road tires not for offroad. Definitely fill the wheel wells and drive well. Sorry, no pics.

No rubbing and they fit the stock wheels very well. If anything they almost look too big on the car. I think it is important to research each manufacturers exact dimension for a particular size.
FYI, the dimensions are 31x11.1x8.7(tread). Since I have a V8 I don't notice the extra height.

Noloc, 275/65/17s are taller. The 65 is a percentage of the 275. Also, i am strongly considering these tires, but I wana make sure they do fit the spare as well.

I didn't want to start a new thread on the topic, but would 285/70-17s fit the stock 17 wheels on my '04 4runner? Also, I am looking at getting the burtman spacer lift kit and all pro wheel spacers. Any thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think I read a previous thread where 285/70-17 MTR's were installed on a 2.5"(?) lifted 4Runner and it was said that it more then likely would not fit stock without rubbing. I'll see if I can find the thread.

i got 285/70/17 they rub. I DONT RECOMEND THEM if you dont want to cut out alot of plastic.
