275/65/18... anyone?

i had my heart set on sequoia hypersilver 17's or 2011-12 fj 17's but have had no luck in my area and ebay wants too much money.

a set of 5 "port installed" fj cruiser 18's just popped up on craigslist for $350 and i think i might jump on them. additionally, 275 65 18 silent armors are for sale for $400.

anyone running this size or something similiar? they'll be going on a 3/2 lift. just want to see pics and decide if this is enough rubber for my liking.

i tried to search but its hard to search by tire size. i know some have the 18" bbs wheels but i want to see some more pictures if possible. i dont care what style rim, more the tire size with a lift.

well, no replies but i pulled out $275 and all 5 wheels were mine. hard to complain with that. he confirmed that they were a dealer installed option on his FJ in Florida. after more research they are (like other port installed wheels) made by enkei for toyota and are lugcentric etc. he actually cracked one by ramming a curb at 45+ and had to order a replacement and the Toyota dealer in Daytona was the only place to get them! they have the same center caps as the ones momo's (and others) enkei's have (bullet style, really cool).

im definitely digging them and the fact that i've never seen another 4Runner with them. plus, i know they are made to Toyota specs by a well-known manufacturer, not some cheap aftermarket junk. it will be a bit before i buy tires/finally install my lift and get them on but here they are for a teaser:

Those look great. I'm dealing with the same tire debate. I've found several pics in the 4th Gen lift pic section. I'm sticking with my 17" rims though.

I'm running 275/65/18 Duratracs.. Love the tires and the size. They are a tad over 32". See pics in my garage..

thanks for the replies and pictures! im going crazy at work trying to decide on tires when i have a project due. i think Texas05SE's pictures finally convinced me on the size, plus he has an 05 like me and not 06+ like many others i see.

ThreeFive0 those look great! i would love some duratracs but i commute 80 miles a day AND found some 95% tread 275/65/18 silent armors for $450 installed. if i had the coin for new tires i would get d-tracs or another aggressive AT.

I'm running 275 65 18 Nitto TGs on a 06 Sport 2wd v6 with an 18x9 0mm offset. I swapped the Xreas out for FJ springs and Bilstein 5100s set at .85". My 4runner sits almost perfectly level (measured to the center of the wheel well) I did have to do some trimming on the front fenderliner as they rubbed a lot.

I acutally just took the hypersilver tundra wheels off. I liked them, but couldn't find any good 275/17 options that weren't BFG A/Ts or mudders.

Old thread but instead of starting a new one for the future searchers of "275/65/18" tires, i'm including my pics.. I'm on stock suspension and had to trim a lot and still have some rubbing on the rear fender wall. These are Nitto Grapplers on an 18" KMC with -12mm offset.
