275/65/18 To 285/70/17

Hi,

I have currently 275/65/18 duratrac and I love it but I want something bigger.
My lift is 2.5 ds front and ras rear up by approx 1- 1.5 inch.
I have 1.25 wheel spacer and stock uca.

I have still in the box 1 inch body lift Rb. (not installed)

I would like to go with 285/70/17 duratrac or similar tire

The 1 inch body lift need the steering spacer or not ? I do not want to risk anything on reliability
I'm a little bit affraid of body lift it's the reason why is still in the box ..

the steering will be harder to turn ?

Also, I don't want gap on my stock bumper

what your opinion ?

I have 4x 17 inch black rims for winter , later I will buy 17 wheel (fj or t4r I don't know )

In other words,

I want to fit 285/70/17 Duratrac so what I absolutely need to fit whitout rubbing ?

I have a feeling this will rub:

Going from a 32.1 to a 32.7 diameter

I'm running the 275/65/18 and get slight rubbing already.

now with my 275/65/18 I don't have any rubbing and I will add 1 inch body lift.

I just want to know with my stock uca would be fine ?
and my 1.25 wheel spacer ?

I probably need to trim the rear mudflap or remove like the front.

Me too, I've been searching everywhere for someone that has a Daystar/1 inch body combo and how 285's fit.

I still have my 275/65/18 duratrac and I installed 1/2 inch body lift last summer.

I'm not sur I can fit 285/70/17 with 2.5 daystar front and ras rear up approx 1inch maybe a bit more .. and the 1/2 body lift ..

I'm getting ready to add my 1" body lift .. waiting for tires .. I was eyeballing the 285-75-18 in the Toyo mud terain I sized it it loos really really close I'm thinking I'm gonna do my 1" and they have the frame noched at my local 4wheel parts for 350.00 if I manage to get 2 days off in a row I will install my body lift mine is the toytech 1" I do belive I will have to add wheel spacers also .

I was eyeing the 285/70/18 km2's which measure 33.7 versus the 275/70/18 which is 33.4. I have a 1 inch BD waiting to be installed with the body mount chop...but the 33.7 still might rub pretty bad which flexing. 275 might be the sweet spot for bigger tires for me.
