Anyone running this size with a level spacer? Looks to be 32.1 diameter compared with 31.5 to 31.7 diameter on most+1 size in 17 or 18. Wondering if any had experience with this size. Tundra's also come stock with this size and possibly looking at some take offs from dealer.

Yeah, that's the size I upgraded to IIRC. I put in a spacer in the front and the only issue I ran into was that there was tire rub when turning on the front. Moving the plastic wheel well shield forward about an inch resolved the rub issue.

So this is with a toytech level spacer? How was the hit in mpg? What kind of tire? Do you have any pics?

Thanks for the reply

I'll see if I can get some Tahoe-esque pictures but to answer your questions...

Goodyear Silent Armors with a Toytech spacer (bought off of eBay but it came in the same box w/ stickers and instructions). Overall MPG hit was ~1 which is difficult to determine being due to a) decrease rake and increase in wind resistance and b) larger tire size (width) and going from Michelin Cross Terrains which appear to have a lower rolling resistance.

did you account for your odometer being off with the larger diameter tire?

You'll need lift for sure and spacer depending on offset (all the Toyota OEM take offs need spacers except the FJ that I've seen).

sorry to dig up an older thread, i'm thinking of putting 275/65/18 on my 08 V8. i have the daystar 1" level kit and sydertraxx spacers. does anyone know if they will fit? i'm good with pulling the fender liner forward, but don't really want to trim anything. thanks in advance

275's

I have not put 275's on yet. I think I might just go with 265/65's and add the spidertrax spacers. I have the toytech level spacer and it really leveled it out, more than my sport ed. Don't no why.

Sorry I can't help with pics

From what I remember, the spidertrax spacers actually can cause an additional problem with rubbing. I didn't go with the wheel spacers, just the shock ones (methinks it was 1" but it's been a LONG time) to level out the front rake.

Had to move the fender lining about an inch forward (barely notice it these days) and there's no rubbing whatsoever.

The rears (mine has rear air suspension, so no spacers) took the tires w/o problem.
