275/70/17 tires fit with 3/2 lift?

Under the FAQ they say they do, but they say they are only 10.8 wide where as the cooper at3's are 11.1. Then it says, 285/70/17s will require a body mount chop, UCA's or backspacing and they are only 11.2 wide.

I just ordered these tires today and they are supposed to be put on tomorrow and I just found this info out so I am pretty concerned they will not fit. ANyone running these tires or know anyone who is? Thanks.

285 will fit and should only rub under full lock. My friend has the same tire size and type on the same lift.

If you go with an agressive mud terrain it may require a body mount chop.

I have 285/70/16 BFG All-Terrain KOS and i don't rub at all.

You chose an All-terrain. You should be OK

The 285 is taller and wider which causes more rubbing. Are you running wheel spacers? These are typically required on 285s and also cause more rubbing. With 275s and no spacers, I'd only expect very minor rubbing, fender liner and possibly on the mud flaps.
