Yes they will fit but I think you might have a little rubbing. With the load range E it will probably ride a little rougher but I think that is all a preference! Good luck with them and can't wait to see some pics of them installed.

Im running 275/70/17 on my 05. I also have 3 inch coilovers and TC UCAs. My front tires had a little rubbing on the fender liner in the front and rear. The front liner just needs to be moved forward an inch or so. In the rear of the well the liner and a little of the flare needs to be removed with a cutting wheel. All in all it was a 15 minute fix.

Does the 275/70/17 BFGoodrich AT fit in your spare tire spot?

Thanks!

If you are still unsure if the 275/70/17 fits in the spare tire spot I can confirm it does on a 08. They also fit with stock suspension with minor rubbing

Thanks for the reply!

I've read both the spare does and doesn't fit, at a full size and fully inflated (40psi). I wish I had tried to put the new tire under the for gits and shiggles!

But now that I have 8k miles on 4 of my 5 tires, I can confirm the 8k mile worn tire DOES fit. It appears with about 0.030" clearance to a rear stabilizer bar. I also took a tread depth measurement and found about 1/64th" was worn from tread depth. So 1/32" (0.032") off the total diameter. Just thinking that if a full size, fully inflated tire fits, I bet its dependent on the tire pressure!

BTW, with the new lift, the vehicle dynamics ARE slightly hindered from what I remember it was at 20k miles old BUT I am EXTREMELY happy to have done this suspension and tire setup at 125k. I'm going to drive this thing another 100k miles! Anyone have some seat covers? :-)

Sorry for waking up an old thread, but can you confirm that the LT275/70R17 will fit on the stock suspension, with minor rubbing?

Thanks.

I had my 4Runner on stock sr5 wheels, 275/70/17 KO2s for about 6 months before my leveling kit. As far as I remembered it did not rub until I threw on different wheels with a negative offset.
