275/70R18 Lift Requirement

I am wondering what size spacer lift I would need to be able to fit 275/70/18 tires? These are 33.6" tires, the 265/70/17 are 32", and the 285/75/18 are 34.1". Anyone with the 2/1 could you tell me if there is enough clearence to fit a 1.5" bigger tire? I want to get a 2/1 or 2.5/1.5, minor fendor trimming is fine. Also what is it that tires first come into contact with?

I installed 275/60 18's. No problems but I think they are only .5 taller but the widest before going to 285's. Not really an all terrain. I assume your looking for an off road tire. Only size I could find in 275 without going to a 285 and needing lift.

Yeah I'm going to get toyo mud terrains and am looking to get a small lift. Do you have any pics of yours? I havent seen many T4R's with aftermarket 18" wheels, just the stock limited's.

I cant figure out exactly what I want to do. I do not like the look of trucks that have been lifted and have alot of space left in the wheel wells, and I feel like this will happen with the 3/2 lift with those size tires. What I really want to do is get the 2/1 and stuff those tires in there, but I dont think thats going to happen. Anyone know gas milage differences for the 3/2 and 2/1 with respective tires?

I drove with my ~3" OME lift w/ the stock tires and noticed no change in mpg. With the 275/60R18 Cooper STTs I am getting around 20 miles less per tank corrected.
