285/65/17?

I know the story with rubbing and 285/70's, but what about this size? Not as many choices available, but with the same diameter as stock and an inch-ish wider, would there still be rubbing issues? Just asking for a friend.

Need to know rim choice as well. Don't ask me what the difference is but the offset and all that good stuff makes a difference as well.

I would guess they still rub without a spacer
