285/75/r16 bfg at. rubbing

I have a roughly 3 inch lift and I have the 285/75/r16 at tires. They rub at some places in the front and I'm not shure about the back. I got the truck to what I though was a full stuff and there was aroun a 1/4 inch of space



Does anyone have any suggestions about trimming

my 285 toyo's do the same. they rub on the inside of the back part of the front fender wells.you could trim them with a razor knife or pair of cutters. mine isnt bad so i havent bothered with mine.it happens with the suspension flex at full lock of the steering.

forget the trimming, just go higher! do a body lift? hahaha

One inch body lift is super easy for the 97+ 4Runners, just make sure you don't want to add headers because none fit unless you do custom mods to them.

I debated a body lift from 4crawler for a long time but have always thought I would like to put headers and a S/C on so have resisted.

You could put a 1/2" wheel spacer to send the tire out from the liner a little. That might just clear for you without trimming.
