285 spare with KDSS

I have searched and searched and founds lots of "yes it does" and
no it doesn't" fit posts on a 285/70/17 fitting the the spare tire spot on 5th gens with KDSS. I have an 18 Off Road (Canada) which I guess would be the same a the US ORP. 5100's all around an 1.5" springs in the back.

Now I want 285 and don't mind if I need to BMC. But trying to determine it a 285 will fit without hitting the rear sway bar off road. I would also probably get a 255/80 for the spare to have less hag down. Any thoughts?

yes it fits with KDSS. ours has been under there since 2021. its a 285/70r17 cooper at3 xlt E rated

Correct. I fully articulated the rear end with the springs off the rear end to properly set up my hydraulic bump stops.

zero issues wheeling, bump stops have been absolutely abused.
