No no no. Way different overall diameters will put a lot of strain on your drivetrain, even offroad and especially in dry conditions such as rock and packed dirt.

Looks... I literally junk the dinky tires that come on every new vehicle I have owned the past 10 years for larger "beefier" tires. Gas millage and on road excellent handling make no difference to me with an off road style SUV.

I just guess I'm not foaming at the mouth to get the largest tires on my Runner. I'll run the OEM ones down and they have been fine for the offroading I have done so far. I'll go larger when it's time but only 31s.
