I have a 1995 4runner. I've had it since new... never got around to running an amp. Which side of the engine bay is best to run the power line for a stereo amp from the battery to the back? Anyone have experience with this?

Drivers side looks easier, Passenger looks like a better/shorter run to the the back.

Thanks, G

Anyone?
Has to be someone that's run an amp to the back.

I've been wiring up some Hella lights, so I have the drivers side all apart. Almost done with that. Amp and subs are next... Any tips on which side is better for power/rca's would help.

On My Truck the PO had some subs. and it looks like he went through the passenger side. I haven't really looked into it yet but I can probably find out where he routed it if you would like. Honestly If you already have a hole in the fire wall for your hella lights I would just run it though with them.

I'm sure that's what I'll end up doing now as it's all apart. I've had some fosgate amps and speakers left over from the 90's in my from my first car. They were to go into this one but never did. I wanted to do LED lights but I'm going period correct. LOL.

I just had my skid, spoiler, manik tail light guards and brush guard re-powder coated. So it looks like when I got it in 95. Some parts have been off it for 15 or so years. It's been a DD for most of it's life in Texas and New Mexico with over 300k on the original engine. Speedo cable was broken for awhile so i'm not sure how many exact miles are on it. I'll have to get some picts up.
