2nd Gen Dash in 1st Gen

Hey folks, has anyone swapped a 2nd gen dash into a 1st gen, cleanly? I was comparing them (I also have a 94 pick up) and the look like a close fit. I don't think toyota would have varied too much with mounting tabs and the like. Just curious. Thanks in advance for any info!

Not sure if it will fit. do some measuring. And if you swap it remember the electrical plugs will be different for everything(gauges, climate control, etc)


I would like a different gauge cluster for my second gen. i really dont like the fuel, battery, oil pre, and coolant temp. the gauges are ugly. I was thinking of getting aftermarket ones.
