1992 3.0 Auto. Nothing fancy. Bought it last month for winter and fishing/camping trips. All stock exept the 31's and the cd/mp3 player, but in good shape with only 142000 on the clock.

Stopped by a friends house on my way home from work. My buddys SASing his 2nd gen with ruf 51" (3rd gen pickup) mix and match leaf pack.

And that engine on the tire in the background is a 3.4 that going in.

My 95. All stock, sitting on 30" tires...no biggie. Waiting to see if this thing will make it to Minnesota before deciding if I'm gonna keep it haha.

If it does make it, planned projects include a 4x4 conversion, bigger tires, and putting a couple more stickers on it, but only if I wanna get real crazy.

1990 keyless entry

So i ordered an aftermarket remocon RMC-105 keyless entry remote for my 1990 toyota 4runner and cant seem to figure out how to program it. Is it even possible?

New to the forum, new to 4Runners and new to driving manual.
Here is my 1990 4Runner 4 cyl, 4x4 w/ 22RE
I love her so far but I need to replace the starter (I'm pretty sure that it's the starter that's bad but it's going to the mechanic so we are absolutely sure). I really know nothing about cars but I do want to try to replace the starter myself. Could it be that hard?
Also some idiot of a previous owner installed circular locks on the doors (you know the ones you can pick with BIC pens). Anyhow, I changed the locks myself and I'm pretty proud of that! I paid $50 for the locks and saved myself a few hundred dollors.

I need to fix the locks on mine. The keys are worn so they don't fit in the locks and it's impossible to lock the car at all. Bad luck for me.

If you go to toyota dealership and bring your title in you can get a new key made from your vin number
