FINALLY got a winch installed, and cable stretched/wound - along with the grill guard.

Hey if you dont mind me prying but how much did that run you? I got a bush guard at the moment so it probably wont be till later after other mods. thanks man

I don't mind at all.
While searching eBay for an unrelated part for my 93 4Runner I came across the Warn Winch bumper for my 93 4Runner. So I put up a bid of $150.00 and got it. I live in the eastern panhandle of WV, and had to drive to the middle of no-where Ohio to pick it up. The bumper was brand new, and in the originial box - unopened! MSRP for this bumper is around $850.00. Talk about the luck of the Toyota!
I was looking at the 4xInnovations front winch bumper prior to finding the Warn. Still a solid winch bumper, and if I hadn't found the Warn bumper - that's the one I would get. I have their rock sliders, and trust me - they do the job!
Since I am retired (due to be hit by a drunk driver) I'm on a tight budget. So I do a lot of searching to find the best bang for the buck building my 4Runner.

I want your luck haha! Great fine man! Yeah I might pry on eBay then too, lot cheaper than $850. I hear ya on the tight budget, college kid trying to work on my truck, it sucks haha but it's a line I have to tow.

I bought it for 750.00 cash in eurtweaka over CL. It was vaguely offered as a 1990 Toyota 4-Runner in need of minor engine work with no mention of the 4WD at all.
I pretty much bought it sight unseen and getting the fellow in person, was able to offer him drastically less than what he wanted once he saw the cash in hand.
Hector -as he's been officially named, needs some serious cleanup inside and out but it's amazing that all of the power features work and he's fully loaded with a moonroof.
Words cannot describe how stoked I am to get my first Toyota and how eager I am to get this project started.
I pretty much bought it sight unseen and getting the fellow in person, was able to offer him drastically less than what he wanted once he saw the cash in hand.

Heres my 1995 4runner, just got it a month or two back. been a great truck so far. put the diamond plate and lights in my self along with the mesh just to clean up the look.

'95 Runner
Been in the family since 2k miles, at 129k replaced head gaskets, now at 135k it's still drinkin gas :cheers:
Probably gunna install a 4-5 in lift with 33's within the next year or so, that should really help the mpg 
Spacers in rear (been in since 96), currently sittin on 31's.

Hey all,
New here from Australia,
Bought my 92 4runner V6 about 3 weeks ago,
Have had to do some maintenance work on her, and a good clean but overall its a great Truck and i love it!!
Dunno much bout its history, but it looks a little higher then standard, 15x8 alloys, Extended fuel tank capacity. Few other bits im sure
Looking forward to mod it more and get it offroad.
