Bought te truck yesterday for $2500.

Took her out today. I am amazed how good a $2500 truck can feel. I detailed it for about 4 hours and now the interior looks brand new. The exterior has a few rusty spots, but I can live with that for my camping beater.

Good find for the price, 2 door's are RARE.

A "BEATER"??? That's no way to talk about a fine machine like that. I think the longer you drive her you will come to feel a lot different about your 4Runner.

It isn't per say a beater, but it is a vehicle I can beat on without worry.

I already love it, I love the plush. Carpeted doors, all working power options, insanely big sunroof and overall feel.

I am not new to Toyota's or 4runners.

I had a 2002 Tacoma locked lifted and armored on 33's.
And a 3" lift on a 2004 v8 runner.

This truck is just to compliment my slammed 2012 VW GLI.

The first pic is the day I bought it back in Nov 2011 for $2k. It's a 94 sr5,22re with a 5 speed. I sas'd it dual ultimate t-case 5.29's locked in the rear with an ARB and 35" bfg km2's. The second and third pic is how it sits today.

Here is my 93 SR5, with the 3.0 v6 Auto and 4WD. Traded up for a 4cyl 1993 Jeep Wrangler I had as an extra vehicle. Only has 4k on the full rebuild (top, bottom & heads) and only 98k on the entire vehicle, clean interiors and she runs like a top even with the ever so not popular 3.slow...

That was my 98 until I bought the 93 and gave my brother the 98. 93 is a 3.slo w/ 193K miles SR5, 5 speed.

No mods yet on either. We're definitely looking at some lifts, and tough ass front and rear bumpers and runners. Not sure what else.

Took em out camping this past weekend. Thats my buddy's Ford 500...not sure what year.

I picked up a 91 4runner the other day. This is my first 2nd gen runner. I've had several 1st gens and currently have a 3rd gen. Picked this one up for cheap. It has 319,000 miles on it and needed a starter. Runs good so far other than an exhaust leak and the a/c works like a champ. I took off the mismatched wheels and tires and threw on some factory sr5 wheels and some 32" mud kings that I had laying around and have been riding her trough the woods around the house a good bit lately.....

Had a great day, front diff was lodged on the trench bit, so had to be pulled out haha,

Clocked 300k the other day, time to start collecting the bits i need to do the timing belt, waterpump, service, and replace the rear diff center. oh boi!!

Just got mine a few months ago, had to do some work to get it running, but this thread has soo many ideas, mostly factory, but have bored, shaved, and "budget lifted" the rear...
