Hahah! I don't want to be bad here also, but whenever I drive past a construction site or certain neighborhoods, it's literally a head turner. They just stop and gawk.
It's all good fun though.

I just wanted to share with you guys what i just purchased and see what you think. I have a lot planned for it but bought it with a lot of what it needed. Paid 2000$ for it so basically stole it with a new (used) engine in it, new clutch, 5 or 6 inch lift, 3.sl0w five speed, and all it needed was brake work. Ended up costing me around 200$ but thats ok. I like it. We call it the magic school bus and was originally red but was painted. Let me know what you think!

A bit more info would be that its a 1990 with 154k miles on it, SR5, little to no rust on frame. The bad is that it has a braken windshield, needs new muffler with exhaust pipe, needs alignment done, the interior smells bad but is in good shape, needs radio and 2 speakers, has dents on front and rear bumpers (getting new ones anyway) and the tires are pretty dry rotted. Eagle alloys on it though.

you sure thats a 4-5 inch lift? I just did a 2" lift on mine and it appears to be about the same height.

05 duramax with a moderate build. Not mine but a diesel will be my next purchase. Although I'd go for a 6 speed cummins.
The picture makes it look small. My buddy has a 06 tacoma with a 3 inch lift and 33s like i have and it sits way higher than it.

Yeah I agree. My truck has a 4" lift and 35s and it sits, or at least appears to sit higher.
What kind f lift is it? Springs? Blocks? Or brackets?

I hope those springs will settle. That is not an optimal shackle angle. What springs are they?

Those are the TG 4"HD springs. I thought the angle looked pretty good? JK. There's no drivetrain in it to weigh the front end down right now. The front hanger isnt fully welded yet so I can adjust it all once I get the drivetrain in and rear lifted up.

No drivetrain explains it. haha
I welded mine flush with the front part of the frame. My shackle angle is good enough. If I were to do it over I'd move the front hanger back just a little. I have no problems flexing as is though.

I agree. Toss the running boards and get some sliders. Will make a world of difference.

Ditch the running boards then chrome trim and get your tinted windows matching. The rims look good though.
