I thought it was ready to go after a year and half of building, but the transmission I rebuilt isn't quite right. Pulling it out this evening to have it looked over.
Absolutely GORGEOUS rig man. That's about as bad ass as they come I think. Good stuff man. Super jealous of the solid axel set up

Thanks man. You're the first one to comment on the name. Came about while searching for a custom license plate. Got a variation of it ordered and waiting on DMV so I don't wanna jinx it. It'll become public knowledge once it's official. A lot of blood sweat and tears have been dumped into it but making them your own is what it's all about. Doesn't matter what the dudes in the Bro-dozers say (lifted F-million50's with extended Compensator Edition smoke stacks). As long as you like it, drive it! Where are pics of your rig man?
(And you forgot to mention my Matco bottle opener along with the lighters)

It's real clever. :thumb: I'd get a custom plate if I knew what I'd put on it. I'm with you on the BS&T, and I think it shows on your truck. It's really not obnoxious like those brodozers, and I'd drive yours any day.
Pics of mine are on p. 103 #1532 and #1543. I need to take new ones after replacing the bumpers and cleaning it up more.

Are your runningboards OEM? The endcaps that connect to the wells on mine were getting really loose and some idiot kicked one off, so I got a new cap for ~$40. Bobby pinned real tight to the inside of the running board, and I'm curious how yours are holding out...

The supercharger was the inspiration for the entire monstrosity. I always wanted a supercharged vehicle, just to say it. (Early 20's, want to sound cool to the ladies I guess) There isn't one offered for the garbage 3.0, and 3.4 was a simple enough change over with near endless benefits by comparison.
Yeah, running boards are stock and the end caps are holding up rather well for almost 250k miles. The little weatherstripping pieces are starting to wander but that's about it. Maybe a couple self taping screws or that 3M body tape could help you out. That's what's holding on my hood scoop. Strong stuff.

Dude how are your seats not almost destroyed??! I haven't see one looking that new in my entire life.
Oh and for license plate I would find a cool one using your unique color. I don't see too many red ones these days. Own it. Red rocket, red rooster, red devil, redline, red-emption, red-iculous. Something's in there that strikes a bell for you

That's pretty nice. I'm content with the 3.sl0w, but there are times when I'd wished I could be a little speedier. I don't mind being stock, though. Brings back the '90s feel.
The weatherstripping is just a long piece of rubber. It's set in a groove, so you can probably slide it back up to where you want it. Mine are just starting to detatch from the side of the runningboard - that's all. No big deal, unless someone kicks it off until it hangs from a screw....
I'll look into the 3M. Seems helpful for keeping the mudflaps flush.
I dunno how. I use the runningboards and the above-door grab handle and drop in, but the bolster had a 1" worn patch so the whole side got replaced.
Thanks for the suggestions. I still don't know if I'd do anything. By me customized plates are yearly charged, so I'd really have to think of something red. Maybe just red.

Not quite. I sank her pretty bad like 10 yrs ago at a buddy's property. Learned my lesson on wheelin with a Ford. Couldnt tug me out. Another reason I gave her a juice boost. Haven't been back on a trail since. Cold feet I guess. And those pics are incredibly disgraceful, upsetting and long gone on a way old phone. But I'm planning on getting some scenic views in the near future. It'll go up once I have some. Thanks for reminding me.

Ouch. That's no good. But you don't have to go wheeling to get some neat pics. Urban environments are pretty cool too.
I don't think I'll be doing any 4x4ing soon. I like being stock with 31s...
But hey you gotta do what you gotta do. Can't wait to see pics.

Don't get cold feet. Its a toyota and everything can be fixed. This last weekend I sunk mine to the bumper in some nasty mud, got stuck twice, broke a front cv, and bent the steering linkage. All I'm really saying is trust you truck you built it after all so let it do what you built it to do. And give it a snorkle if you haven't yet lol. Nice runner btw I can't wait to do my sas. I'm trying to get my neighbors 75 fj axles with tera flex revolving shakles.
