They probably would've been remembered much more fondly if Toyota hadn't used them for their new 3.0 V6 guinea pigs. That's the butt of the jokes in a nutshell--their engine is woefully underpowered for the size of the truck, and the awful exhaust system design coupled with a government-mandated change in head gasket material caused their head gaskets to blow repeatedly. Once you get past that, there is hardly any difference between it and the 3rd Gen, which doesn't receive any grief. Yes, I think the 2nd Gen nailed it with their body style, which is why I put up with the engine...unless, of course, I toss that out and put in something else, like I did on my last one! Complaints gone!

No they are 265/75/16 they are pretty much a 32x10 I want to go to 33s or even a 285/75 but I'm not sure if I can get those on stock tacoma wheels I have

Looks great. Hope I can get mine to look 1/2 as good as yours.

Blazeland LT kit installed with 5100s and sway-a-way torsion bars drove threw a trail earlier feels good now waiting on the shock hoops to be done and will be adding 2.0 8" shocks with reservoirs going to look for a front bumper and some lighting in the mean time.

What sort of offset on the front wheels? They stick out a lot
