2nd Gen T4R Picture Gallery

Just picked up my 2gen T4R. Pretty solid truck w/ minor dents and dings. Mechanicals seem solid, but I'll be tearing into it and replacing what needs replaced, fixing what needs fixed, and upgrading what needs upgraded. I'll start a build thread if progress justifies (and I remember to get pictures).

The guy I bought mine from just fixed suspension, got aftermarket pioneer stereo and upgraded speakers, and new tires. that's a lot of $$ I'm not spending. cha-ching! I should have about $1500(including purchase price) into mine when it's ready to run again, which isn't too bad. Don't wanna get into $2500-$3000 in fix-ups because then it's just going to be a money hole lmao. Happy building!!

freshly rebuilt 22re by yodaman out of Santa Rosa
three row metal radiator
metal timing chain guide
RV camshaft
31" BFG ATs

next up is a roof rack and MAYBE new front/rear bumpers...

still honestly think I like the stock look better than most all bumpers i've seen thus far...

think I might tackle new suspension before bumpers

goal is to make this a cross country vehicle with an autohome pop up tent on top for easy deployment

How stout is the Bullbar? It's on the shortlist for my 92

G'day Workhorse..

It's pretty decent. Its a winch compatible bar so everything is solid. The mounting points weren't as good as my friends ARB bar, but because of the body lift we had to cut the mounts and extend them anyway, so we just added extra mounting points and gusseted everything. Solid as a rock!

Personally I think the ARB bar is a better unit, but I like the look of the TJM bar better.

These are all the ones I have on the PC at the moment. I'll get a few more taken tomorrow for you of the seats and stuff. Once I get enough rep on here (new member) i'll start a build thread for this car

Steering Wheel is off a ST204 Celica , bolts straight on, had to relieve a bit of plastic on the column shrouds, but fits nice and looks oem. $10 from a local wrecker.

Moulded 2 gauge pillar pod with Defi water temp & Innovate wideband AFM

Fitted door pockets of local Holden Commodore, allows the Alpine 6.5" splits to fit nicely without hacking the door to bits.

Sound deadener applied to all internal panelling. This stuff is awesome! Totally changed the driving experience. Got rid of alot of harsh road noise, tyre whine, rattles and vibrations. Highly recommended.

Thanks - that's a helpful review, since the TJM and ARB bars are essentially the only 2 that would meet my requirements.

Man that one sweet interior i worked at Japanese importer for many years and i heard about that interior but never got to see one thanks man.
