Killer transformation!
Looking at this, I just realized what set it apart so much (my issue too), losing the running boards. It looks so much sleeker without. I'll do rockers, but i gotta get rid of those cumbersome things. lol Nice looking rig!

Mate I was just wondering so in the before photo for the ride night is that just the standard from factory height?
And the after photo is the only thing that’s been done is a 2 inch spring lift??
And to do the 2 inch lift dose anything else have to be done as well??

Sorry, I dont login as much anymore. Yes and yes. The first pic is stock the after pic is after installing 2" lift springs from OME.

Technically they are 35”s but they measure out to be a true 33”

1990 3VZ 5 speed. 230k+ miles. Didn't run when i bought it.

Cleaned the tank, replaced the fuel pump, filter, sending unit, clutch, fixed the cracked clutch bracket, coolant flush, oil change, vacuumed inside. Runs ok. Gonna drive it until the 3vz blows up and drop in a 5vz.

I like your way of thinking! Just bought a 1992 diesel 2LT with 270k KM (not miles). Haven't figured out yet what engine i can use as e replacement.

When you find a bit of a hill in the middle of your city. You go straight for the top. Needless to say, it was a pretty week hill.

Haven’t logged on here in a few months but I figured I would log on and show a recent project I took on in case someone else was considering it too! I cleaned out my wheel wells and cleaned off 23 years of grime and grease from the front and rear underbody. Instead of using undercoating I decided to take a more durable route and chose to use truck bed liner. I’ve used it for several purposes in the past and it’s durability still seems to impress! As far as prep work goes I detailed the underbody sn wheel wells in a self wash car wash and also purchased an engine degreaser to remove the tough stuff. I used several coarse brushes and scotch bright pads and after a few rinses it was looking ready to paint! I used some 100 grit sandpaper to give the surface some tooth and masked off parts I didn’t want to spray. At 12 bucks a can I only spent 50 bucks or so on the paint and was able to do the front and back wheel wells and the front/back axle. Looks pretty good IMO and have got lots of compliments so far! Pretty easy project and looks much better than the faded metal that was showing!

Today I picked up a new-to-me ‘95 4x4 with 220,000 miles, cranked torsion bars and OME medium rear springs

Just picked up this super beautiful and clean '95 Limited! It's an automatic but only had 108xxx original miles. 1st photo is completely stock but as soon as I got home I removed the running boards and dipped the wheels black. It will be used as a daily driver but of course also our overlandng rig!

Future Mods:
I have Moog coils coming in to bring back up to stock height. And then eventually I will get some OME or Toytec springs for all around. Thinking of getting 31" Grabber AT2s soon and then just a basket on top and drop a NAV system in the head unit.
