I have a 92 4runner and as with every other 4runner the tailgate is starting to rust near the bottom. Does anyone have any advice on how to stop this. I thought about POR 15 but the surface is white. I was thinking of buffing off the surface rust and just painting clear por 15 over whats there. If anyone has had the same problem and knows how to fix it I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks. There is not a whole lot of rust, just a bit on the surface and a bit of bubbling. I really dont want to have to scrape all the rust/paint off.
