2nd gen washer reservoir removal

Anyone have any tips/tricks for removing windshield washer reservoir? I realize washer motors have to be unconnected and 'hoses' disconnected. Is it possible to remove with-out removing battery? Thanks for any information.

Just loosen the battery strap and slide the battery back a few inches.

OCMike, Thanks for reply. That is a good idea. I found to the left of battery a gray plastic electrical connection that might be power source for both motors. Washer hoses seem to be routed from top/left side of battery then down to pump motors. I think I can lift reservoir up ( have to simultaneously move a hose or a thick wire/cable out of the way as I lift it) for bottom motor and it's electrical connector to clear. Once lifted I should be able to disconnect washer hoses from pump motors. All of this to try to fix leak in reservoir. Again thanks.

That's also how I change the headlamp bulbs. Much easier to move stuff out of the way and change bulbs from the inside instead of removing everything from the front.
