I have a 2003 4Runner SR5 V8. It came with only 1 tow ring on the rear driver's side. There are holes in the frame to install one on the rear passenger side. Where can I buy a ring to install myself? Will the muffler be in the way, and is this why there was no ring there to begin with? Anyone have a part #?

I also have the 03 runner w/ the V-8. I noticed the same thing about lack of recoverability from the rear. I bought a a hook that is rated at 15,000 lbs (even though the V-8 is only rated at towing 6,000) from a local hauling company that inserts into the hitch. I was looking for the D-ring that also inserts into the hitch. Couldn't find one in my timeframe (NOW!) so I settled for the hook. Later found the D-ring at Tractor Supply Company.
