Many months ago the little plastic piece around the gear selector that shows you what drive gear your in on my 99 2wd Sr5 cacked. So no longer would it slide with the gear selector. I ordered the little plastic slide piece to replace it. Has anyone removed the T handle aod shift knob? After the two screw on the knob what else needs to be done to get the knob off so I can remove the housing and replace the plastic slide?
