2WD driveshaft replacement

I have been reading through several forums relating to driveshafts and most seem to be about 4wd vehicles. Everyone mentions that the splines have to go back in the same place or it will cause a vibration issue. I assume this only related to 4wd vehicles?

I have to replace my driveshaft. I cannot think of any reason why I cant just slide it in, bolt it up, and be good to go. Has anyone replaced theirs? Is there any specific requirements that I need to consider when I do the replacement?

BTW, just as a public service announcement: Make sure you replace your U-joints in a timely manner.

You got to make sure about the phasing. This goes for all driveshafts.

Thanks. I understood the video (which was pretty interesting, BTW). I am replacing the driveshaft with a salvage one. The U-joints are good in the salvage one and already pressed in place. So far as I can tell the shaft is solid and cannot be adjusted for length like in the video, just like the one that I took out of my vehicle. Is it a safe assumption that phasing would not be an issue if bothe my 4runner and the donor vehicle were stock? If it were an issue, how would I correct the problem? There just doesn't appear to be any moving parts aside from the U-joints and Yoke.

Edit: I found this link which is also helpful. In my mind, if such a problem existed I would have to correct the position of the rear diff or the transmission.
