Hi, new owner here of a 2WD 03 V8 SR5. The previous owner had some Maxtrac 4” spindles installed recent and I prefer going back to stock spindles since it already has adjustable coil overs as well. I’ve ordered new OEM knuckles and sway bar links though I’m curious if there is a cap of some sort for the back where the 4wd axle goes through?
I’ve seen a lot of videos on replacing these on 4WD models but the only one I’ve seen with a 2WD was a hub replacement though I did catch what looked like to be a solid back to the knuckle when everything was off. The knuckle diagram shows part numbers 43212V(L) behind the knuckle. Is this a seal for the 4WD axle to go through and would I need something else to close the back up? Thanks
