Thank you for all the info...
My local 4wd shop wont even talk long with anyone with a 2wd.
I was concerned with the diff drop was for the rear to change any pinion angle but, thought a 2-3" suspension lift was not drastic enough to require this.
I also heard that I should strap the steering wheel down good to make sure the airbag doesn't go off?
Anyone heard this?
So let me put my ideal wishes out there for comment...
3" body lift and 3/2 suspension.
Any BIG problems with this?
I appreciate every comment I have received so far and look forward to the new comments coming soon.
diff drop is only for the front diff on a 4wd so you will not need it as stated above-"lift to the moon"
3" body lift-is complicated on an automatic.
read up on 4crawlers web site-that is Roger Brown.
Never heard this steering wheell thing-you mean tie it down while the lift is being installed.
By 3/2 you mean inches fron then rear- or cornfed spacer lift?
I would tell you to avoid spacers altogether but you have a 2wd so it is not going to be on the trails I gather....some folks say the ride gets real stiff and deterioration of the springs ride follows.
