2WD vs 4WD rear suspension

Is the rear suspension setup different between the 2WD and 4WD models?
Reason I ask is that I am considering the Timbren TOR4R rear kit but they only have 4WD listed.
I had Air Lift air bags that fit inside the coil springs but they are not working now. I want something that will keep the rear up when I pull a car trailer.

They should work. The frames are the same.

Personally, I would get another set of Airbags. Mine have been super reliable even with me maxing out my flex a lot...

Everything in the rear is compatible except for upper links between 2WD and 4WD. Springs and shocks will have different OEM part numbers, which might be why they don't say is crosses over.

2wd upper links are shorter than 4wd upper links. It changes the pinion angle which is necessary for the two different rear driveshaft designs.

These Air Lift bags worked well for a year or two, now leak down fairly quick and using soap solution sprayed on from the air valve back to the bags themselves, I can not detect the air leak.

The product description states "There should be a ½” to 1 ½” gap between rubber spring and frame to ensure unloaded ride quality" so you may need to get taller springs or spring spacers for the rear to achieve the recommended gap. Something to keep in mind.

That'll depend on the year. My 2WD was at ~20" all around, even at 15+ years old. Ride height between the 2WD and 4WD is basically the same (other than the '99 4WDs).

Another option for towing and not much lift is the OME 2906 springs, but they will be a 2" lift unloaded (~22" hub center to fender lip).
