2wd vx 4wd axles?

k heres the deal im looking at a 94 4runner, to buy just for offroading and stuff...

the guys says the truck runs in 2wd just fine, but it needs the 4wd axles to run in 4wd...he said the transfer case and everything is ok, just needs those...

is there more that would need to be done? does it sound a lot easier than it is?

You mean it's a 4WD Runner and the front axle shafts aren't there ??

What's keeping the gear oil in the differential ??

Why are the axles missing ??

Maybe it's just missing the front prop (drive) shaft? We need more details.

I havent seen it yet...it has front axles but missing (some kind of) shafts...he said everything works it just needs those...i got a pic of it

so idk exactly what it needs or how hard it would be to turn it into a 4wd again...any clues guys?
