3.0 Solara Engine Swap?

How difficult would it be to swap a 3.0 out of a 1999 Solara into a 1995 4runner? Will the Tranny bolt up? What kind of problems am I looking at.

car is fwd pretty sure it anit going to work now if you went with a 3.4L swap the tranny well work with that motor

Well I'm pretty sure that the Camry and Tacoma had the same 3.0 in the early to mid 90's, and I doubt they casted them with two different bellhousing patterns. I just don't know if the pattern is the same on the the 1MZ and 3VZ.

The 3.0 from the camry is not the same as a 3.0 from P/U, one is FWD and the other is RWD.:biggrin2:
