I have a 93' 4runner with a 3.0 and a five speed transmission. I am looking to do a swap. I know the upgrade to the 3.4 is very popular, but I was also interested in possibly going with a 2.7 4 cylinder, due to the improved gas mileage and from what I understand it would still be a HP upgrade. I was wondering how feasible it would be? For example will the transmission match up or will I be required to do a swap with that as well? Any info would be very much appreciated. Thanks
