3.4 Intake resonator/silencer removal, question

I read the procedure on yotatech about removing the intake silencer, has anyone found a readily available solution for a replacement pipe instead of going to a muffler shop to get a piece of pipe fabbed up? Just curious....

If not it's off to the muffler shop I go.

You can use schedule 40 electrical conduit (Home Depot/Lowes). It's the exact size. 2 3/4" OD with 2 1/2" ID and just cut the length.
