Recently replaced spark plugs, wires and boots on coils (the coil boots were original at 224,000 miles) - fixed my miss occurring intermittently in damp weather. Total of $96 delivered from Rock Auto. The plugs are fancy double platinum which should go 60,000 miles vs the standard 30,000. You could go with the standard and save $25 or so.

That pretty much sums up anything you ever need to know about spark plugs for this vehicle. Only thing I'd add is copper plugs work just fine, they just don't last as long.
Double-ground plugs are recommended by Toyota (there's a sticker on the engine cover).

Just be aware that the OEM cables are Sumitomo (they have the year printed on the wire insulation). Denso and NGK are both after-market, although dealers often carry the Denso. I have been happy with the NGK TE66 wires and the stock NGK plugs (BKR5EKB-11 (3967)).
