Regarding west coast, I never saw them in Cali just up in Oregon. I saw 2 in southern Oregon with local plates.

I once saw an 89 2nd gen 2 door in Texas and I was like WTF? That is the only one I have ever seen in person. Yours sounds pretty cool since it's a 4cyl, 5spd, 4x4!! Get some pics up ASAP!

I would like to find out numbers too. This is my 90' second gen two door. It's a beast, but a daily driver.

The 2nd gen 90-91 2 drs weren't imported to the states in large quantities like the 4 dr because they weren't selling as good as the 4 dr. It's that simple.
