3 inch lift on a 2000

If i have a 2000 toyota limited 4x4 with a downey 3inch body lift what is the biggest tire i can fit on there with the stock rims and without the stock rims. I was told it was a 285/70/16R which is also a 33 but whats the numbers on that a 33 what?

post some pictures up! are you saying you're running stock suspension/tires with 3" bl? Gotta see this

There are two common sizes post-lift . 285/75, which is a 33.1 diameter if i remember correctly and a tad wider than the 285/70. Second is the 255/85, which is something around 10.5in wide but almost 33.5 tall. Someone over at Yotatech is running stock suspension with a 2" body lift and 255s and actually looks really sick

i wanted to keep the stock suspension and just wanted something quick to put on before the beach...was goin to put the 3inch downey body lift and was wondering what size tire i should go with to make it look real beefy on the sand and road
