3" Lift with 265/75/16's

I am leaning towards the Complete OME Setup from ToyTec but use my 4Runner to pound alot of pavement. I am considering running some 265/75/16 BFG AT's but I am concerned that the tires will look too small with the 3" Lift.

Anyone have pics of 3 inches of lift and 265/75's?

Something I forgot to mention. The stance looks too narrow with limited flares. My next purchase will be spacers

Thanks for the pics! That might have just made my mind up for me! It looks really good.
I have the SR5 flares so the narrow width/stance shouldn't be an appearance problem for me.

I will be getting the exact same lift/tire size but with Bridgestones instead. I think 285s are great but because I will be doing a lot of highway driving, I went with the smaller tires. Think it still looks great though!

Toytec ultimate as well. tires are 265/75r16 GY Duratracs. I still need to raise my front about another inch and a half now that I have my diff drop installed but the rear is about a 3.5 inch lift and front is about 2.5.

this is with out my new rear bumper so it should give you a good measure

re: 265x75xR16 - my tires are even smaller than that.

If I have this right: 265x75xR16 => 32.2" tire

I am running 275x70xR16 => 31.6" tire


Because I am running 275x70xR16 vs 75, I get pretty good gas mileage. I just did a mileage test and got 18.8 MPG. For this test I didn't exceed 65mph on the freeway.

on my trip down to CBI I got 20.8 on the way back. also slow 65ish average cause Yellow stone its 55 through the park.

I Think the 265-75-16 are 31.7 (32") I think. I could be wrong though

I think one thing that can make this combo look a little smaller is if you have the larger flares and put the tires on the stock wheels (or a wheel with the same backspacing). It really helps aesthetically (and clearance) to have a wheel that pushes the tire out to the edge of the wheel well.

I've ran 285s, and trust me, if your 4R is a daily driver..you don't want them. 265s look great and perform great. This is the only decent picture I have with my new tires.

265/75/r16 is an ideal tires size for thses trucks if you do not wish to venture into heavy modification.

Mine drives, on road, like the day I bought it if not better.
I wheel the hack out of it and can do most the same obstacles that guys with 285s and 305s can do, if not harder lines.
I have zero regrets that I went with 265/75-16.

3" toytec ultimate with sr5 flares and bfg at's 265 75 16. my bumpers might throw it off a little but you can see how they work with the flares. I actually had to add a 2" spacer to the back to compensate for the extra weight. i normally have about 200 lbs. of gear back there so there is only a tiny amount of rake so about a wash.
