3 options for Ray10s...only 48 hours to decide. Which one looks bro?

SCS is getting a stock refresh on 4/26...almost exactly 48 hours from now. Getting some Ray10s. Originally was thinking I was going to get gunmetal, but they don't have 17" gunmetals going on stock. But...they do have black and dark bronze. Its possible...one of those other colors would look better on my silver 5th gen. I don't mind some fashion, but I don't want to be a bro (so...brushed copper..another option...is out since its a bit too flashy IMO).

Here are the 3 options (sorry...there are tacomas here..):

First option: Gunmetal Gray
I don't want matte gray, since it would match too close to my silver 4nr. Gunmetal is a bit darker, though in some light it might be brighter than I was hoping. I think it does have an advantage over black because you can see the detail of the wheel.

Second option: Jet Black
Probably the most "aggressive" look, though I don't want a "black hole" for a wheel, but the faux beadlock puts some silver on the wheels. I'm worried black will hide the detail of the wheel. I could be wrong though.

Third Option: Dark Bronze
This starts pulling a bit on the flashy side...but probably still perfectly acceptable to me. Depending on the light, can be really subdued or a bit more of a bling.

I hopefully can get either black or bronze Thursday night...and who knows how long gunmetal might take to get in and I could miss it regardless when it does come in...).

So....let me know! I only have 48 hours to decide!

I was planning on getting 285/70/17 Ridge Grapplers...I'm not sure that they do white lettering?

I'd stick with the gunmetal or go with a different wheel if they don't have it. Not digging the black or bronze in that one.

I was leaning towards the black initially, but I think the bronze looks amazing on a lighter colored vehicle. Not too flashy, nice and subtle (their matte dark bronze). Black does seem played out a bit. Oh and the MDB sold out in 90 seconds last week......

What happened to silver or machine faced wheels? I went with Method NV’s ONLY because I could get machined/silver wheels.

Anyway, I’d say gunmetal of them all. Black is overplayed and bronze is cool but a bit “of the moment” Like a teal car from the 90’s or something.

Every time I see bronze wheels on a truck or suv I think about civics, integras, or other import cars. Just doesn't look right IMO, but that's just my opinion and doesn't really matter. Get what you like. Who cares what we think.

Gunmetal will be in the next release in May. Find a local 4x4 shop with a relationship, they may be able to reserve a set for you.
