3 Q's About glove compartment.

1) I've rattle in there somewhere, does any one else? If so - what's the fix.
2) Little damper cylinder is just a stopper, meaning it will not gently lower the door of glove compartment, right?
3) I'm thinking about finding gass filled damper of same size of Toyotas plastic one and making it functional. Kind of like hood or tailgate dampers, but reverese. Will it work?

1) I've rattle in there somewhere, does any one else? If so - what's the fix. Is it your upper level shelf that folds to make the "hidden compartment"?

2) Little damper cylinder is just a stopper, meaning it will not gently lower the door of glove compartment, right? Mine dampens and stops. It sounds like yours may be worn out.
