For the last two it sounds like you need a good detail which would mean the right products; clay, polish and wax/sealant and and a rotary buffer if the scratches are bad.
BTW this is life with a black vehicle. It will always seem to get scrathed easily and show them. Black takes a lot of work to keep lookig nice.

I use a little trick when getting bugs off my motorcycle windshield and faceshield, both of which are easy to scratch with crunchy bug guts. I take a paper towel, soak it with water or Windex, and plaster it over the buggy area. The little critters get soft and come right off if you let it sit. For larger areas, spread out the paper towels or use larger cloth towels. Paper towels are cheap and they conform to angles, edges, etc., easily especially when soaked. Make sure they're really damp and give it some time. The idea is to get them soft so you don't have to scrub 'em off or use harsh bug remover.

1. Sounds like the rotors may be warped.
2. Light scratches, try using polish with very mild to little abrasives. You can try Meguiar's Scratch-X on deeper scratches, like in the door handle cups. Also when washing, wiping and waxing your truck use only linear passes. Never wash, wipe or wax in circular motion--that's how swirls develop. (Mr. Miyagi from Karate Kid may teach good karate, but wax on wax off is horrible for your paint's finish.) Swirls catch light at any and every angle thus making it very visible. Black was my first choice, but I know I couldn't keep it in a prestine condition.
3. Bugs and insects I normally use a pressure washer (1700psi, 6-10 inches away fan spray) to remove the bugs and dirt first. If they're stuck on after washing with car wash soap and a mitt, I use a cleaner on it. If it's still stuck, a clay bar with detailing spray will work also. I usually wax after scrubbing off dead bugs. In the future to prevent bugs from sticky, try Dupli-Color's Shield. I used it last weekend on 400 mile round trip drive. Works very well, but I wouldn't consider it as a temporary bra, because I don't think it's thick enough to prevent chips. It's almost like leaving the haze from wax, it comes off if you rub your fingers on it, but doesn't wash off. It's easy to remove with a pressure washer and bugs come right off. I did follow up by handwashing with soap. Overall, Shield's a good product (they don't recommend leaving it on the paint for more than three days though).
